We help leaders and organizations define their vision and put it into action

Over the years, I’ve seen many inspired strategies fail, and the simple reason for this is leaders get caught up in the excitement of the future vision, but little time is spent assessing the viability of the plan, designing it to scale, or building an effective execution roadmap. What organizations (and people) are left with is a misaligned plan that creates confusion and resentment; and if not addressed it will take you down the path to a toxic culture. The bottom line is that organizations aren’t getting the results they need, they are wasting resources misdiagnosing the problem, and their employees are burning out.

This is where I come in.

I help leaders and organizations turn vision into action—thoughtfully, effectively, and efficiently. Through strategy development, leadership coaching, and practical learning programs, I help organizations create alignment, simplify complexity, and build the structures and systems needed to sustain long-term success.

When you align people, processes, and priorities with clear objectives and consistent, kind, well-executed, impactful leadership, great things happen. Organizations become communal, teams communicate better, employees feel motivated and dedicated, leaders have the clarity and confidence they need to execute, and businesses operate with greater clarity, agility, accountability, and impact.

If you're looking for a partner to help to design a human-centred, future-focused plan, that prioritizes people and relationships as much as results, I’d love to connect.

  • "Trust Wylie Burke. Wylie brings experience, honesty, and a positive attitude to both individual coaching and team development. Connecting people with process is a fun journey and Wylie creates a safe environment for people to explore themselves and the impact they have within their teams. Talent management, conflict, team assessments, individual coaching for succession are just a few of the areas where Wylie exceeds expectations. Make things happen with Wylie Burke."

    Dave Bush, Director HR

  • "We worked with Wylie to facilitate a team building day in the winter. The staff included long-standing employees and brand-new staff, in a mix of positions. The organization we worked for was fairly new and we had been challenged with a lot of staff turnover and high stress deadlines. The session brought us all closer together, as Wylie facilitated activities that encouraged sharing authentically and pushed us to focus on our collective strengths. Maybe more importantly, Wylie’s session gave us some new language and concepts we could use when we were having conflict. Afterwards, some staff mentioned they had been applying their new learning in their personal lives as well. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Wylie again, especially if I had a team working through some conflict."

  • "I had the pleasure of participating in a course facilitated by Wylie, whose friendly and welcoming demeanor created an environment where I always looked forward to our sessions. She was able to foster deeper discussions among us. This approach not only encouraged active participation but also enriched our collective learning. Wylie was consistently responsive, providing prompt follow-ups that demonstrated a genuine commitment to our progress. Her infectious positivity made each conversation enjoyable and left a lasting impact on my professional development."

  • “It was a total pleasure to work with Wylie. I particularly liked that she took the time to explain the process we were about to engage in with respect to strategic and operational planning, so our team were all aligned and in a way that we could all understand and be highly engaged to co-create a product that we could all feel a sense of shared ownership after we were set on our path to success.“

Joe Persaud, Director, Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion, CLTO

  • "As the manager of strategy and planning, I had the pleasure of working with Wiley on our Human Resources strategic plan for Community Living Toronto. This was the first time our department was formally writing a strategic plan, which she was able to develop from scratch. Her expertise exceeded our expectations as she was always available for additional working sessions and workshops to ensure everyone was comfortable moving forward. Wylie was not only reliable and resourceful, she was flexible and understanding. She was a delight to work with – a team player with a a positive attitude from start to finish. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire her again if the opportunity arose.

Lee Smith, Manager of Strategy & Planning, CLTO

  • "Wylie was instrumental in helping me to land on my feet as a new leader within my organization. There are common challenges that most new managers face, especially when being promoted from within a company, and Wylie helped me to overcome a couple of big ones. For me, it was the daunting new world of navigating personal and professional relationships with coworkers who suddenly become direct reports, as well as finding my voice at a leadership table where everyone seemed to have significantly more experience and value. Imposter syndrome weighed heavily on me to say the least, and through Wylie’s self-reflective process, I was able identify and lean on my strengths with confidence and give myself permission to genuinely practice humility as I worked through learning in my new role. Here I am 5 years later, and I still find myself applying the tools Wylie has given me in both my personal and professional life!"
